JEANNIE MUELLER,

Jeannie Mueller has been with River Valley since 2012 and has over 20 years of experience in healthcare. Not only is she a Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C), she is a Registered Dietician (RD) and a Certified Diabetic Educator (CDE). Mrs. Mueller has extensive experience in all aspects of patient care for pediatric and family practice including detailed history and physical examinations, development of treatment plans, prescription of medication, and ordering and interpreting laboratory test and diagnostic studies. Prior to becoming a PA-C, Ms. Mueller worked at the local and state level to provide outreach and education on diabetes, healthy eating and lifestyles, and disease prevention for Delta County Memorial Hospital, Head Start of Montrose, Colorado State University Cooperative Extension, and the American Heart Association. As CMO, Mrs. Mueller has led River Valley in developing clinical goals and implementing the Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement Plan, and federally-approved Scope of Practice. Mrs. Mueller coaches, mentors, and trains medical staff, setting clear expectations and professional development goals.

MARISA BORCHARDT,

D.M.D., Chief Dental Director 

Marisa grew up in New Jersey and later moved to the Boston area. She received her Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology and minored in Public Health. Later she received her DMD degree from Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She is passionate about providing high quality dental care to every patient.  Marisa understands the importance of making sure health care is easily accessible and provided in a culturally respectful manner.  In her spare time Marisa enjoys distance running, snowboarding, and hiking.
