The Coronavirus Public-Health Emergency is Ending
The federal government declared a Public Health Emergency (PHE) for the Coronaviruse in 2020. That allowed the government to provide free COVID-19 testing and vaccinations, and to expand Medicaid coverage to millions of people. Now that the pandemic is winding down, the government will end the PHE on May 11th.
If you were granted coverage during COVID, you might drop out of the system!
